With regards to any reviews regarding battery life of the Spacetalk watch, today I decided to see what my battery would be like after a reasonable amount of use. I charged it fully last night. I have location updates set at 1 hr and screen brightness at about a quarter which is still quite bright and very adequate. I turned it on at 7:30am, I sent and received three texts, I made two phone calls for a total talk time of five minutes, I checked the step counter three times, checked settings twice, checked for texts three times, checked battery life something like ten times, checked out all the emojis, sent an instantaneous location to my mobile, checked the weather twice, turned the torch on for half a minute, checked the time at least 5 times- basically I played with it quite a few times throughout the day as a kid would likely do.
Its now 7:45 pm and after a full 12 hour day, the battery life is still on 94%. My watch is close to a year old and so the battery is certainly not new anymore. I’ve decided that any negative reviews on battery life are probably mostly due to kids playing with the watch all day long because it’s relatively new. I have found settings do matter as well. A bright screen with stopwatch running which keeps the screen lit up continuously is probably the fastest way to drain the battery. Normal use does not drain the battery in a day. Not even close.
