Of course it is.
The people on this forum are so biased there's no point in replying to their efforts to refute the simple fact that solar power stations are now being built, without the subsidies coal still enjoys and produce power for far less.
As you point out coal is responsible for massive environmental damage and those that profit from it should be held responsible for that harm.
