They don't go public because then they would have to disclose their real figures which are closer to $5.20 than 52 billion.

By the way, here is what happened to all the other 'disruptive technologies':

Uber: gone, prosecuted, fined, illegal, cars kicked in....

Bitcoin: has itself deleted, hacked away, accounts empty

Autonomous trucks. Ha Ha. Read the latest glossy Daimler Benz report about it, almost at the end of the report you suddenly read there will still be driver in the 'autonomous' truck. Ha Ha

What happened to 3D printing? Another joke. Machines churned out that plastic junk in the 1950s already. In these days they just call it 3D printing, sounds flashy, hey. It is still plastic junk.

Wouldn't it just be easier for the taxis to up their game? Nice clean cabs that arrive on time, don't cost an absolute fortune and have a driver that speaks comprehensible English? Is that really too much to ask?
