Yeah, I've thought we've been on the right track for quite a while. The problem has been the extended waiting for official confirmation.

I would love to see just what area the seismic was conducted within. I am sure there was talk of them needing to do marine seismic but then when they actually announced to contract for new seismic it sounded to me like they were only doing land based seismic.

Previous maps showing lines of seismic show a clear lack to the north of Songo Songo Island.

Perhaps the JV partners were reluctant to fork out cash for marine seismic thinking the field wouldn't be that big so they went with the cheaper variety?

If so then there could still be a clear lack of accurate knowledge regarding the northern extent of the KN gas field. Which sort of fits with Aminex's more recent comments about the field being larger than they expected.

If only they would give us the damn results!
