I have voted no to resolution 4, however i dont think our votes will stop this resolution going thru in the affirmative. They will have the numbers to carry this thru.
It will however i trust, give Ken Russell the message that his shareholders have had a guts full of his autocrative management style and that considering the current performance of the share price in this market that he needs to be far more pro-active to his long suffering shareholders.
In todays financial markets management need to keep their investors "FULLY INFORMED" otherwise their companies will struggle for support, this has been evidenced by the cowboy approach by Ken and his team re the rights issue.
He must be joking if he seriously thinks that after the GFC he can just come out and say, "Approve resolution 4 so that we can issue 70,000,000 shares to Institutions and Sophisticated Investors in case we might need it down the track."
