The question for either process is what happens to the sulphur? They both claim no pollutants. Obviously no sulphur in the steel or the char. So it must all be in the oil? If it is, then with average sulphur in tyres being 1.6% (it’s an integral part of vulcanisation, cross linking between the carbon chains) then the liquid should be around 4% S. That’s a very sour mix, and wouldn’t be worth much at all nor be popular with refineries.
