My view is what you suggest would not need to be announced.

However, I do not imagine that Lilac would be doing anything in the field now. Im guessing that all of that is on hold until we find out what the composition of the brine is from Skyline and whether that should be used for the PP or the CC32 brine.

Lets assume for a minute then that the brine from Skyline is different than CC32 then another process Im guessing will be to mix some of the brine together as its likely for production (should it reach that point) that brine from various wells would be used at the same time.

Again pure speculation but it seems the pilot plant may be larger and more comprehensive than what we might imagine. I base that on the footprint of it and the fact it will likely be dealing with a few minerals and that a specific senior position has been advertised for someone to join the team to manage and work on that process.

Tempering my enthusiasm for the PP however is that in the last preso that the company did the PP is marked for work right through until Q3. (JULY-SEP) and that it refers to the PP as been for "lithium extraction" with possible extraction of "boron, bromine and iodine to be assessed" . The fact we can extract 2 of those already might mean the PP timeline is longer than might be thought in order that they can include the extraction of 1-3 of those minerals in the PP.

On balance therefore, I don't think its likely to see a PP functioning until Q3 at the earliest, but I would expect they should be in a position to convert the eluate into something prior to that...…………?

Final piece of speculation is that Lilac are yet to make "battery quality" at all yet as far as I am aware, whys that? Well it could be because they need a larger lab on site to do it (but how does that match with their claim they can make battery quality in 2 hours, to make that claim surely they have done it) or are they not so keen to do it for one customer yet until a processing deal etc is in place. Or maybe bruce wants to prove it at scale and not in a test tube?

Personally if Lilac can do it I would consider buying them out and listing them in the USA and we merge the listing and have our "chemical processing company" listed over there and then ASN can remain with its graphite etc projects and anything else the then shell may seek to do if at all.
