robertb, I agree about initial IP statements. I usually see announcements about 24-hour IP rates, not "tests".
Also, my first thought about the larger (more open) choke was similar -- it allows more flow which makes initial IP look good but doesn't compare apples with apples (where other wells have smaller chokes).
However, I think pressure also needs to be taken into account here. Eagle 6th had 3200 psi, even with the larger choke, whereas earlier wells had lower psi (some much lower -- around 2000 psi) even with a smaller choke (where smaller chokes maintain higher pressure in the well). So possibly Eagle 6th will be a good producer.
