There are many technology distributors/wholesalers in Australia that run both distributor/wholesale & online/retail channels. I'm not going to name them, but there are many. Pretty much every one of the top distributors in Australia (the billion dollar+ distributors, like Ingram and Synnex), have their preferred 'retail channel partners' they work with and they quite comfortably work with all the smaller guys too and everyone gets along pretty well. People who know their place in the industry are successful.

All the guys who do this are smart enough not to bite the hand that feed them also (the smaller guys and the bigger guys). It's the smaller guys who help new products get traction quickly in Australia. Not the big guys. And it's the mid-tier guys who spread that traction the fastest. But it's the bigger guys (bigger than Warcom, HT, eStore), who push through the volume and who clear dead stock. Every player in the space has their strengths and weaknesses. Warranties go out the window for many of the bigger guys, where as the smaller guys excel in this area. The mid-tier guys are the one who provide good pricing, and better service.

Everyone can play well together in this space and most of them do.
