Chinese minor metals weekly roundup Antimony still hot, magnesium offers hugely up, tungsten up further
BEIJING (Metal-Pages) 05-Nov-10. Increases in antimony market prices showed no signs of slowing this week, in line with even tighter spot availability caused by the antimony ore shortage. Most smelters have stopped offering, expecting higher prices.
Magnesium metal offers have been significantly raised this week, due to increased production costs as a result of much higher prices for ferro-silicon, the main raw material. But the fast rising prices have hindered market transactions.
