Although I am far from a union advocate when I was working for BHP some 30 years ago (albeit in a different sector) that was the practice then as it is now. By having allowed these practices to continue without a successful challenge BHP is in fact aiding and abetting these practices. It may sound archaic by why hasn't BHP addressed these issues?
