The management could not plan or forsee anything. They hit that $1 when they had one half year where all went great. And they mined the low hanging fruit.
But, honestly, the management could not even work out 'if it rains (in the rain forest jungle) the road dirt road will become muddy'. For two years they blamed the rain and dirt road. Actually, maybe three years they used that. Then they fired the locals (who cant drive in mud) and hired some Aussies. The Aussies they learn, also cannot drive in mud. Then they fired the Aussies (owing them like 60 mill) and hired some locals again.
In short, if you cannot work out, over five years, that it rains in the rain forest and that rain on dirt becomes mud.... and the mud has nothing to do if you are a local or an Aussie or a Brazilian mamba dancer.... then you, well.... then you are not fit to manage the toilet paper roll in the toilet. Actually, I never used one of their toilets, but likely somebody forget to put the toilet paper in.
