my earlier post got moderated for "unsubstantiated information" and I guess it may have seemed that way ...... so ...... in an effort to redeem myself ...... here goes a clarification for posterity ......

I started with
"Whoever shorted (assuming it wasn't the same person/company/fund that also bought 170,000 to cover the short) would be feeling a little sick about now"
[this was based on the observation that someone (or someones) had taken a short position on Titomic shares .... I think it was Friday .... and the following observation that a buy order for an equivalent number of shares was made shortly (within a couple of days) after - see earlier posts in the TTT forum and links that evidence this].

I continued with
"..... share price $2.20 ...."
[that was the share price when I posted, down from a $2.29 high, it finally eased in late trading to an end of day $2.13 - still up 2.9%. This is still upward movement on share price so something that would presumably concern a short position taker]

".....and announcements due this afternoon ......"

The website informs there was a "pre-networking announcement" scheduled for 3:45m today at the land forces conference underway in Adelaide.

I guess a pre-networking announcement is an announcement before a networking evening so positive news could be on the way, I don't know the content, hoping for updates tonight/tomorrow but I would hope it will have been good news....

There is a thread in the TTT forums that revealed this pre-networking announcement earlier in the day]


my final comment was
"..... Ouch !!!!!"
[Which is simply an expression of discomfort and empathy for someone looking likely to lose money on a short position. ]

Apologies if I offended anyone with my earlier post. I hope this substantiates/clarifies where the information came from.
