    I am intrigued by this bot thing. Is the technique to sell a few shares at a weak price in an attempt to sucker someone else to sell a larger quantity at the same or lower price and then pounce on them?

    I have seen it occur with other normally thinly traded small cap shares but assume it would not work with large liquid stocks such as BHP or the banks.
