I have a large holding in Transit (I hope my $ aren't the thing in transit...my pocket to someone else's).

Was concerned this would come soon as cash was only about $3m cash and falling. They need to fund their 4? hole drilling campaign in July/August-drilling to substantial depths of 1800 metres+.

Have a look at Indophil (IRN) and effect of recent capital raising on shareprice, although that stock has a lot of unresolved issues. Fell from 56c pre capital raising to about 36c (rights issue at 35c)
