As the Training Manager you will refine, create, deliver, and manage Nearmap’s training operations across multiple disciplines, with an initial focus on sales. You will be a sponge, absorbing everything there is to know about Nearmap and continuously staying on top of innovative practices in order to provide best in class training. You will write content, conduct presentations, and continuously measure training success and refine your craft/strategy to bring out the best in each individual you train.
A typical day may look like this:
• Working with your fellow Nearmappers to understand content needs and develop customized training plans that deliver high quality, quantifiable results
• Writing and delivering content to help train new and existing sales professionals that help advance the sales cycle – i.e. Sales/On-boarding Playbooks
• Utilizing a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs and systems
• Providing on-going learning and training opportunities for existing sales professionals and leaders to support organizational needs
• Collaborating with new and experienced sales managers to provide coaching concerning performance within their teams
• Partnering with fellow managers to prioritize, create, integrate, and publish training material
• Tracking success/feedback – you stay connected with teams and manage ongoing feedback to drive continuous improvement of training materials
• Building out a formal and informal training calendar – sessions covering new hire sales training, product/improvement launches, demo skills training, ongoing skill development, internal updates, etc.…
• Partnering with all areas of our US business to analyze performance so that additional training can be developed and implemented
• Continuously collaborating with subject matter experts on current and upcoming needs to contribute to the design and rollout of training programs

You have:
• 5 years relevant experience in training, including experience in sales training
• A demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver sales training programs utilizing multiple methodologies
• Mastered building out self-training models/certifications including training videos
• Track record for developing and executing full training lifecycle metrics to measure and drive business results
• An entrepreneur spirit and able to quickly build rapport and earn respect from colleagues
• A working knowledge of SalesForce
• Project management and multi-tasking are second nature to you
• A solid understanding of sales, marketing and business processes
• Solid skill in Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint
• Been told that your energy and enthusiasm are contagious
