Maccas have been selling down their holding at much higher prices than today. They have to support the price now to make the placement viable if the price doesn't trade above 20c its unlikely that they would get placement filled even though most of it is underwritten.

They have already said that the NTA as quoted is probably less now than the diluted 76c. The yield is about 12% on the current share price of 26c ? that's not outstanding when you look at the banks current yield.
