crazypunter the prob with that approach is that every store in every location is different. i mean, they have their good and bad. and how many stores are there? heaps! not just the half dozen in our surrounds. plus, an average woolies could be a stand out if operating next to a lousey coles. see my point? the walk-the-street approach is handy, no doubt, but better suited elsewhere.
seriously, my local coles is pretty darn good. the woolies attracts a totally different demographic. the woolies is small and dindgy, but probably more profitable than the large and glitzy coles
