Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it. I'm currently looking at trading stocks on the ASX, my main objective is to protect my capital so I'm looking to keep my exposure to a minimum for the time being and to trade stocks and sectors I have traded in the past while I educate myself on TA indicators and understand more FA particularly in the commodity/resource sector.

One thing I do understand well is how brutal the market is, so I'm well aware of many pitfalls and that is the reason why I have waited so long to actually have a crack at short term and day trading. With the improvements and access to markets at an all time high it makes sense to at least spend a few years trying to nut it out and educate ones self.
