I also look in to becoming a DT in the foreseeable future. Although at the moment finding the right tools to be hard.
Currently using etrade, dabbled abit into IRESS but I feel my usage of it does not justify it's purchase. Maybe as my understanding grows I will see the merits of the platform ( any one care to give me pointers ).
I am also not sure if I need a scanner.
My current strategy I would summarise as finding undervalued stocks and day trading the swings. But this seems like a very primitive and generalisation approach.
@sharks37 would you care to give some insights about your daily trading routine. And do you use a scanner ? Thanks
