Network Ten chief brand lead exits for CMO role at Deloitte

Network Ten's chief brand officer Matt McGrath has left the business for a chief marketing officer role at Deloitte Australia.
McGrath will become a partner of the firm and report to Deloitte’s managing partner for markets and a member of the executive leadership team, Peter Forrester.
McGrath, who joined Ten in 2013, was also Y&R Australia and New Zealand CEO and creative director for four years up until 2009.
Deloitte CEO Cindy Hook says McGrath's experience will be used to to enhance Deloitte’s brand, creative and marketing strategies.
McGrath adds that Deloitte is making a “huge impact on so many companies in Australia and around the globe”, and his role will be to leverage the Deloitte brand to help grow the business and client’s brands in this “incredible period of disruptive innovation”.
"One of the things that convinced me to join Deloitte is their capability in digital. It is far beyond anything I have seen in a marketing services agency or advertising group in terms of IP and true capability to change businesses,” McGrath says.
The move follows a number of high profile advertising industry moves, as more are lured over to the consulting world.
