Liquidity was an issue, especially for the less traded stocks. That was the case when I traded the minis when they were first introduced to Australia quite some years ago and there was only one issuer.
I don't know what the current situation is as I don't trade minis now. It looks like there are now 3 issuers: RBS, CitiFrist, MacQuarie.
