you would think so but those international grain deals can be fraught. I hope to be proved wrong ( as i have a lot of friends who have awb shares ) but i expect Geneva has only been making the money it has by taking undue risks. One of these reporting periods i expect it to crash and burn also.
they overpaid for landmark ( but it still has prospects of a viable business), and they bought a loanbook from rabobank which it was keen to get rid of!!
I guess at a low enough price anything is a buy!
