Yes the company did request a trading halt but as a result of a query from the ASX. So there is one of two presumptions. Either EBR do have some news to tell, in which case, unless they can pass on the reason for the rise onto the newspapers, they might be in a little bit of trouble, as it would mean people knew, or they will tone down their previous announcements in the way of a detailed explanation, which would almost definately have a dampener on the current shareprice.
My educated guess is number 2, it all depends how well they word their toning down. Maybe they can get their PR to do this at a reduced rate.
