A company should be focused on generating VALUE for it's shareholders. Share consolidation DESTROYS VALUE. If a company can't generate VALUE then no amount of messing around with SOI will improve shareholders VALUE.

I've been caught in a few share consolidation and EVERY SINGLE BLOODY ONE of them DESTROYED VALUE. Not one of those consolidations improved value at all. I suspect those who are calling for and/or are wishing / hoping for share consolidation are the ones who's agenda is to see shareholders' value DESTROYED. They've probably short sold.
