    History suggests speculate a merger/takeover of PIR.

    Avoids the hassle/risk of PIR building/commissioning and may effectively be a cheaper source of finance than the banks/low price hedge/equity raise etc.

    $2 package from one of the offshore biggies or the maybe Chinese would be my bet.

    Were it the other way round the other corporate would also be requesting a trading halt......
