As a long term holder of PIR - this has been a no-brainer from day 1. Great intersections with big grades in a mining friendly country. Sure there were a few hiccups along the way including the attempted coup and islamic fundamentalists running amok in the north.

But as a potential mine this had takeover written all over it for a long time. If you look at the map of the area all the biggies have mines in close proximity to Fekola and it was just a matter of time and patience.

Even if this announcement is not a T/O then we will get one at some point in time. The resource is just too good to pass up for the big boys.
