My guess would be some sort of arrangement between CAZ and MIN so regardless of the port outcome, they both benefit? That would explain NM's buying...

If it is an arrangement between CAZ and MIN, it must be something that has been started after MIN were told about the ports decision. It can't be something that has been happening in the background for the past few weeks as that would be price-sensitive information which has not been announced to the market and NM would not have been able to buy stock on market.
My guess is port decision in favour of MIN over CAZ, MIN would have been advised earlier. Crazy decision by Govt, CAZ now will go to Esperance which will be cheaper but take slightly longer to get going. CAZ holders should keep the faith, top up on the pullback.

Why the presumption that CAZ is going to lose the port allocation? If director buying/selling is any indication, would have thought CAZ are going to win it and MIN lose it.
