Not really. Unfortunately if negotiations of a material nature are taking place, then the market cant trade blind. Some are in the know, others arent.

But they arent ready to disclose to market. Cant show your hand until its played.

Maybe they had/have a plan a,b,c.

Obviously they cant give too much away, especially a lack of interest. Bit hard if they tell the market "we're really struggling to find investors" whilst trying to get the best deal possible.
