"Shares in Austal have been placed in a trading halt after surging more than 18 per cent on reports the US Navy is in talks to buy coastal warships from the Henderson-based shipbuilder and a rival tenderer.
The stock jumped 46 cents, or 18.5 per cent, to $2.95 by at the open before the company called a trading halt on its shares."
Seems possible that Navy contract may be shared between 2 companies?
