What a shame my post predates the patent. Even the first one that failed and needed a re application to finally get there.

I get why you would want less heat on the back end of the mining process (your second reporting need) - no need to explain it to me further (and people may think it needs to be explained to me based on what I'm about to say next I suspect - hence this little disclaimer). What I don't get is why this second reporting need does not happen at the various iterations of the first reporting need you've stated. This neverending search for best concentrates prior to heat and acid testing. Why not heat/acid test as you go? Most will say that's nonsense and costly and etc etc. I accept there's cost, but there's also cost in spending years stuck at the first reporting need stage. So my way (testing as you go) vs the current way (optimise concentrate for years) are both costly the way I see it. Obviously can't do it both ways -as that would be a massive cost. But most companies bogged down in the "oh if i can get my concentrate just pure enough, i won't need much heat'.'
