PEX applications appeared on Minview which is the NSW online lease listing, see
https://minview.geoscience.nsw.gov.au
May take months yet before the applications are approved and accepted. PEX need not formally announce anything until then.
NSW government is quite poor at this stuff. They are captive to the Lock the Gate crowd. Have been examples of operating coal mines around Lithgow, forced to close due to permitting delays. More of the same is not a speedy pathway. Mining lease applications take at least a year. I know of mining lease renewals around Cobar that have taken 3 years.
MB is a greenfields site. They will need approvals from Cobar Shire, mines dept, planning dept, environment dept, water, main roads at least. Need 2 years of baseline environment data.
