Last few days of trading only confirmed by guess that some insider was trying to manipulate the share price but failed and left for the market to decide.
However it is obvious that some shareholders still cling to their shares and willing to sell from 0.7c and up to 15c – because they paid dearly and now want some money back. On another hand, there are still plenty of “buyers” willing to pay from 0.6c and down to 0.1c because they believe it is good value to buy at the “bottom” price. But reality is that none of the parties realize where is the bottom. And it is not 0.6c or even not 0.1c. It is zero.
Let’s look at the published figures and prospects if the company can climb out the pit. The company was losing money for most of their existence, and each time when they run of money they raised more cash to keep it floating. They never delivered what they enthusiastically predicted about revenue growth, but always found a good spin to tell another good story and fool investors in believing them. But finally they run out of good stories and in half early report said that they “improved” performance by cutting further “costs” on the background of falling sales from $3.48m to $2.81m.
On 23 Feb 2017 they left with $1.9m in cash reserves, and with declared loss in 1Half of 2016 $1.15m – where do you think they came at the end of FY2017? With few hundred thousand?
With ticking time when expenses remain below coming revenue in – for how long they still pretend that she will be alright?
I am not sure we live to see their FY2017 report in October and AGM where Rathie would drum up the new rosy future for DDT. They may fold in much earlier.
And shareholders who on one hand still hold shares and buyers, who think they have good bargain, may regret – the first that they did not sell at 0.5c, and buyers who were foolish to pay any price for worthless shares.
