Isn't there talk of British man Sanjeev Gupta reopening Whyala Steelworks and turning it into a premium producer of steel. I seem to recall a article and hearing him talk of this on Sky Business. The higher grade of iron expected to come from SouthDown may suit this and transport from Albany to Whyala would surely be suitable. I know Whyala supplied its own iron content from South Australia and there a projects like IRDs in being planned, talked about and EPA assessed. But GRR have a site also and technical knowledge on the go already.
