That's great, thanks again 64. It certainly does enforce responsibility for our actions, after all I and only I am the one choosing what to and when to buy/sell, so success those actions will only improve confidence. I do like hearing that it has changed the way you carry yourself in the world as well
The books do help, but they definitely feel like a guide and not the bibles I naively expected them to be. Probability certainly is the most important word when investing isnt it. Luckily I am in health, so am able to lean towards likelihoods rather than the absolutes you describe other professions may be more ingrained with .
I am sure it is a very long road to being successful in investment and trading. I lol'd at the "aha!" moments, hopefully they outnumber any "doh!" moments . Baby steps seem to be the way ahead from here, so I'll keep plugging away and work on the psychology and planning to keep my objectives in focus and not lost in the noise of the market fluctuations. Thank you for the kind words of encouragement
