You'd have to think that anyone putting more money into the company would have wanted to know how the current quarter was panning out, and if it was disastrously bad they'd have kept their money in their pockets, so perhaps it won't be so bad after all. Then again, the market's littered with dud companies that seem to be able to continually find new 'investors', so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
