I agree with Kevin Gallagher...... Narrabri will be able to supply gas at a lower cost than an LNG import terminal can. I think there is more danger of Narrabri rendering the import terminals unviable than the other way around. It's a bit like the proposed pipeline from PNG to Queensland.... CSM killed that. Or the import terminal that were going to be built in California......fracking/shale gas killed that. But, I would expect the proponents of the import terminals to be lobbying like crazy to stop Narrabri. Unfortunately I have little faith that our dumb state Govt. will do the right thing.
