Two likely outcomes...the country will collapse and die a Venezuela type death. Long and slow with ultimate breakup like USSR.
They might decide to change when things get dark, like Yugoslavia. Slowly separate into different autonomous regions, countries, have factional wars in the mean time.
Likely they will deteriorate over a long time...dangerous!! Their form of governing simply does not allow evolution to a better situation. There is already much unrest internally. Leaders are trying to divert the world’s attention internationally and terrorize internally but that always fails in the long run. Trump’s plan is to drive their economy into the ground. That plan will be successful. Especially if the remainder of the planet grows some testicles. I would not count on that so more rough times are ahead.
