Also, there was a comment in an AFR article yesterday that analysts had been looking at Medicare market data on Australian pathology which showed subdued market growth in Sept, but Sonic has said at the AGM that their Australian pathology growth has been well above this market growth per the Medicare overall market data. So some analysts were trying to be too clever and thought they could extrapolate the Medicare market data findings to Sonic's business, but it seems they were wrong on this account, hence the decline in share price and now resurgence. The big guys who sold out the day before and caused the share price to plunge 5% or so must have some egg on their faces now, ouch!
