Elixinol Relocates Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary to US; Appoints Joint Company Secretary & Retains US Investor Relations Firm Elixinol Global Limited (EXL or the Company) (ASX:EXL; OTCQX:ELLXF), a global company operating in the hemp, dietary supplements and emerging medicinal cannabis sectors, announces that Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary, Mr. Ron Dufficy, will relocate to the United States to assist with driving the substantial international growth opportunity for the Company. In tandem with Mr. Dufficy’s relocation, Ms. Kim Bradley-Ware has been appointed Joint Company Secretary and will be based in Sydney, Australia. In addition, EXL has engaged Liolios, a US investor relations consultancy, to support the company’s growing investor base and continued expansion in the US. Liolios will complement EXL’s existing Australian-based investor relations activities. These changes follow the news in December 2018 that the US 2018 Farm Bill had been fully passed and enacted into law, positively impacting the hemp industry. Through this new federal legislation, hemp was removed from the Controlled Substances Act, opening up significant growth opportunities for the Company in the US (refer to EXL’s ASX announcement of 21 December 2018 for more information). Mr. Dufficy will be based in Colorado, USA and will continue to work with the global team to further pursue international growth strategies for all business units, with initial primary focus on the US and European markets. To support Mr. Dufficy in executing corporate responsibilities, the Board has appointed Ms. Kim Bradley-Ware as Joint Company Secretary of EXL based in Sydney, with effect from 8 January 2019. EXL CEO Paul Benhaim commented: “On behalf of the Board, I thank Ron for accepting the offer to relocate to the United States. He has previously lived in the US and has deep knowledge of operating within highly regulated markets. Working from Colorado, Ron will apply his strong strategic skillset to take advantage of our immense international expansion opportunities. We view Ron’s relocation, as well as our recent engagement with Liolios, as key to driving and executing our plans for continued global growth and expansion of our US investor base. Kim has been supporting Ron for some time, and we are also pleased to now formally welcome her as Joint Company Secretary.”
