I think this is speculation and quite reasonable anticipation. It the absence of any actual news it is most likely to be a last minute false start, because everything is on a hair trigger. Those who have followed AP for a while appreciate what is at stake. Those who are just hearing about it for the first time are starting to buy in as they see the potential. As an opportunity AP has to be seen as an investors dream!

The reason the SP is not already much higher is that we have not yet seen (or heard) an actual finished product that meets and exceeds the audio industry's expectations. It may yet be a damp squib, but personally I don't think it will be (DYOR!). But the day that it does, the company's perceived value will take off.

The AP chip has to be a disruptive technology on a par with such things as the transistor, the LED, and the CD. Like those things it is not doing anything totally new, but instead it revolutionises how those functions can be done so much better in the future. It will certainly revolutionise the current industry and cause a lot of disruption, but it will also introduce a whole raft of new possibilities that will grow the industry and change the way we all do things.

This waiting for a significant announcement is like sitting on top of a rocket just waiting for the signal to come. Unfortunately the count down is very slow, so we just have to hold our breath while we wait for the initial roar of the engines.
