Again, 100% in agreeance. There's a lot to answer for. But at least we can talk about it and debate our way to the right outcome. And we are right now - a lot of what you mention is in civil discourse currently as we debate our way to better outcomes. It's why democracy is the greatest system on the planet, in line with capitalism. Not perfect by any means - but they sure as hell are the best systems we've got - simply put, nobody has come up with a better system. Agree with me?
Try talking about Tibet, Tienanmen square etc. in China and you'll wind up in a corrections center for your "incorrect thinking". Yay Chinese democracy. Laughable, it's any oxymoron.
A healthy dose of cynicism is prudent for everyone - but don't kid yourself into thinking the West is against you and the Fake News is out to numb you. You'll only damage yourself.
