the only transaction done recently is Anglo buying 60% into the Revuboe project in Mozamabique
all the others are irrelevant as the market today is completely different
that transaction was done at around $0.67/tonne and is predominantly high quality coking coal but has a thermal coal byproduct
ZYL has some advantages over this project in terms of infrastructure but anthracite wont command the same price as coking coal
$0.50/t is reasonable in this market for a company at this stage. History suggest companies in production sell for multiples of this, so I definitely see more value in getting into production than spending more money looking for more tonnes
if you can do a bit of both that is great but definitely not worth focussing just on exploration
nothing is going to happen on the corporate side until BFS is done and the York acquisition is complete. The financing deal has certainly been structured to allow for a takeover to happen, question is whether a deal is already on the table "subject to BFS etc" or whether they are just leaving the door open
