The contract on the lease agreement for Tassal salmon farm in okehampton bay has already been signed. The agreement is binding so this is non issue for Tassal at all with fish growing starting in August. Tassal has never intended nor expected to farm in mercury passage ever and the fact is that the ban is fortuitous for Tassal because Tassal farm expansion there would be the last one allowed anywhere near okehampton bay. EPA also already agreed on the trial for the waste capture system that secured Tassal legitimacy in overloading their fish cages above 13tonnes. There is no issue here other than negative emotional sentiments in my view. Shares go up and down, I bought another parcel at 3.65. If it goes down again the. I will buy more.
