My feeling is that is is possible for some confidential news to be hidden from the chart. This accounts for volatility around earnings and reporting. It is also why many traders will never hold thru earnings and quarterly reports. IMO, Lynas is subject to irrational forces within Malaysia and the forces of self interest within Japan and Australia which may not been resolved. While it can be argued these are "hidden fundamentals", they will be expressed in the chart but only after they are known, even if only to insiders. IMO, price action over the next few weeks will tell us if there is an answer or if the battle persist. As for betting, it is a lot more fun to bet in a casino with free drinks and comped rooms. At least there is no doubt the house has the edge and the wise man set his limit before he starts betting.
