Glad we are on the same page Huninni. I also wonder why 27m and not simply $501(US) which would still win the shoot out.
Perhaps D&C Pesca was put this forward because they could not pay the 62m...perhaps to drag out the process or to incur the bad debt.

So worst case scenario is actually SRK owning %100 of AF less the approx 30m debt and potential ongoing land rights issues. Always potential curve balls thrown in with foreign dealings.

As I said, I have not followed this one closely so purely speculating and have found enough red lights here to back away.

Having said this, anyone who has followed this closely, has some legal knowledge, does their research and is willing to take risks may double their money overnight. Not much stock available for the big players to jump in so this could be the perfect opportunity for the small player (like us on HC) to take the leap of faith.
