Despite the nervousness, the talk of D&C (whichever one and despite whether they are in cahoots or not) having a potential partner seems to be the most logical.

Whether D&C Pesca will renege on their $27.5mil offer is another issue. However, one of D&C would be crazy not to have made at least one legitimate bid.

That is, Ausinca could have 100% of AF for around $35mil if they Pesca pulls out. This would put them in the same position as Strike, assuming that Strike had won.

With 100% of AF, they could shop around for a partner (exactly what Strike has been doing). Depending on the quality of the partner, D&C could make a motza long-term.

It will either be us or them.
