You may not have realized it, but there are a LOT of technical traders who are worth squillions..

I don't have squillions, but I do have a reasonably large portfolio in dollar terms, and most of my trades are significant sums. And most based on TA... apart from a few very long-term accumulation stocks which are based on fundamentals, like TOX, for example.

So don't write off TA - I tend to sum up the differences as follows:

FA tells us what a stock OUGHT to be doing

TA tells us what a stock IS doing

And both can be used to assess probabilities for the future.
