The water issue is not a showstopper; rather a complication. There is a possibility to extract off the Coolgardie Norseman pipeline, to augment the losses in the medium term. It has the benefit of maybe washing off the excess sodium chloride from the last row of spray bars on the sink screen, or else using this fresh water in the jig after the DMS and recycling this water to the process water tank/s. I bet they have hopelessly undersized this tank. It has to hold at least 2 hours residence time to smooth out irregular flows from the bore pumps and the pits.
