With TRF trading below the offer price of 50c, although you get Oppies as well. Considering whether to buy on-market or pay for the offer via BPay. This will give me double the shares I have now. Plus IFE only a fraction above the offer price. Will they get the 7-8 million they need???
I predict TRF up 10-20% next week as we are all done selling down to pay for our 50c shares to gain the 70c Oppies as an extra. As I personally class the 70c Oppies as being worth between 5-10c. Over 10c the closer we get to 70c.
I think many are thinking along the same lines- to buy online or take up SPP offer. Only to gain the Oppie shares.
If headed below 45c i feel some of us larger holders would be buying on market and forgeting our Oppies.
Well we have until Tues 5pm to hold off- BPay payers should ensure they pay on monday. Cheques would have been sent... direct deposits tomorrow. Paying Tuesday will be cutting it very close as it may not be registered through BPay on time- I am told. Yet i am told 4 hours before should be safe. Extra safe is Monday...
Obviously none of us have considered buying on-market as opposed to the SPP due to the lack of volume. We all want the Oppies... on top of the shares. And it is worth more than 2c to us to have the 50c shares plus Oppies.
-------------------------------------------- I sold down my IFE shares in low 90s and bought more IFER to purchase more IFE at 85c. I hope this will be a good move, yet may as well buy on-market if shares go to 85c. Otherwise what is the point...
We gain an extra week to pay for the IFE shares or buy on-market or not.
I think they will need to release an ANN to talk some of us into it...
Without a doubt the commodities fall and mining tax have hurt them. However WHY are they still trading at such a low price since commodities lift a bit? IMO it is the offers still pending.
I think it will be undersubscribed unless insiders take on the rest of the shares. Or they release further ANNs to the market.
What is their backup plan if undersubscribed? I hold the Directors will put their money where their mouth is... this will get me to buy even more.
I have managed to get the funds needed to take out the offer, now considering whether to buy on market or take out the offer... Without the extra Oppies I would simply by On Market.
When the offer is done and dusted this play should increase approx. 20-30% IMO if commodities still same as now. Confidence is still risk adverse, yet gaining some momentum.
Will take a good update to regain back past $1- IMO. TRF always been undervalued compared to assets... That is a fact.
Director holdings after this offer will be very interesting IMO... I believe they will allocate themselves the unclaimed shares if they fully confident.
